Make an appointment, fill out a short form, then bring your machine to an upcoming
Quick Fix Clinic!

The Quick Fix is meant to diagnose, troubleshoot, and attempt to resolve mechanical issues quickly.
Your machine will not be fully cleaned or lubricated and not timing adjustments, chemical
cleanings, or other complex procedures will be done.

Most machines will be fixed and ready to sew again with this service,
and we make every attempt to get you sewing again as quickly as possible.

(Quick Fix fee is a $49 + tax pre-paid, non-refundable fee due at machine drop-off.)

What is and isn’t handled with a Quick Fix?

The Quick Fix is meant to resolve minor issues, including:

• Skipped Stitches

• No Stitches

• Thread nesting

• Fabric bunching

• Broken threads

• Tension issues

NOT handled with Quick Fix:

• Cleaning/lubrication

• Timing adjustments

• Restoration

• Motor service or electrical rewiring

• Major repairs/electronic issues

• Parts replacement

What’s the procedure?

Schedule a 30 minute appointment, fills out a short form, and pay a non-refundable fee.
Bring in your threaded machine and accessories listed below, fill out a Quick Fix Agreement, and come back in 30 minutes to pick up your machine.

Accessories to bring with your machine:

• Power Cord

• Foot Pedal

• Bobbin/bobbin case

• Regular and zig zag presser foot (if machine does zigzag stitch)

• Project you are working on (or material from that project)

• Leave machine threaded and with the needle in, if possible

What happens after the Quick Fix appointment?

• If the issue is resolved, you leave with your machine and can keep on sewing! The $49 Quick Fix fee will be credited toward a future full service if performed within 60 days of the Quick Fix. Note: No warranty or guarantee os offered on the Quick Fix Service.

• If the issue is NOT resolved with the Quick Fix, you can choose to leave the machine with the technician and it will be placed in the queue for servicing. The $49 Quick Fix Fee will be credited toward the service if it is performed within 2 months of the Quick Fix appointment.

  • If you choose NOT to leave the machine with the technician, the fee will be credited as stated above, but will not be refunded.

• If the issue is not resolved because it is out of out of technician’s range or skill, customer will be referred to an authorized service shop and the $49 Quick Fix fee will be refunded.

Please read the Quick Fix Terms and Conditions. By booking a Quick Fix appointment and pre-paying, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions and agree to allow diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving the issues with your sewing machine. This is a one-time service, not a full machine service. It is your responsibility to schedule full service as needed in the future. In most cases, the $49 fee is non-refundable.
